The Flare is an independent fashion blog created in November 2011 to document Alison's daily outfits and inspire creativity in others wardrobes. The blog is updated multiple times each week; it has over 100 followers and receives over 200 views each day. 

In Spring 2012, Alison was the Fashion Section Manager of Elon's online newspaper, The Swing. She wrote, directed and produced videos about season trends and tips on how to improve one's personal style.
